[13/10/2023] When Will The Aid of Allāh Come? – By Abu Khadeejah ‘Abdul Wahid حفظه الله. Masjid Salafi, Small Heath, Birmingham, UK.
Some points discussed during this lesson:
- Understanding the cause for the humiliation of the Muslims and that which will bring about victory and the aid of Allāh.
- A ḥadīth that highlights sins people fall into, the result of those sins and the exit from the humiliation sent down upon them by Allāh.
- The three levels of Islām.
- The necessity of ikhlāṣ and mutāba’ah.
- Imām ‘Abdur-Raḥmān as-Sa’dī (رحمه الله) on the two types of jihād.
- The removal of blessings due to corrupt ‘aqīdah and sins.

- Allāh and His Messenger ﷺ did not legislate street demonstrations, raising placards, assassinations or hunger strikes as a means of rectification.
- Following the example of the Prophet ﷺ and his Companions when Makkah was in the hands of the mushrikīn.
- The fruits of rectifying ‘aqīdah, exemplified in the da’wah of Muḥammad b. ‘Abdul-Wahhāb (رحمه الله).
- The reason for the revelation of the verse, “Or think you that you will enter Paradise without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? They were afflicted with severe poverty and ailments and were so shaken that even the Messenger and those who believed along with him said, ‘When (will come) the Help of Allāh?’ Yes! Certainly, the Help of Allāh is near!” [Sūrah al-Baqarah 2:214]
- A proclamation from Allāh regarding the outcome of opposing the Messenger ﷺ.
- Great lessons from the Battle of Uḥud for the Muslims who seek the aid of Allāh and wonder why they are in a state of weakness.
- Revelation from Allāh regarding the reason the Muslims where victorious at Badr but were defeated at Uḥud.
- Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) on one of the wisdoms gained from Uḥud.
- The difference between the Ṣaḥābah and us regarding learning from mistakes.
- ‘Umar (رضى الله عنه) on fearing our sins more than the enemy.
- Beginning rectification with ourselves and our families.
- The outcome of acting without wisdom.
- An important point from Shaykh Rabī’ (حفظه الله) regarding the reason why Allāh did not command Banī Isrā’īl to raise the sword against the Romans despite there being three Prophets amongst them.

- Is anyone that is not a Salafī considered as someone from Ahlul-Bid’ah?
- What is the position of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamā’ah regarding Hamās and other such groups?
- What is obligatory upon a woman to wear when she prays ṣalāh for it to be accepted?
- How do we respond to those who belittle rectifying the ‘aqīdah before dealing with the enemies, and they use the evidence that Ṣalāḥ ad-Dīn al-Ayyūbī was an Ash’arī yet he defeated the Crusaders and likewise the Ottomans defeated the Christians while being upon bid’ah?
