[15/09/2023] The Morocco Earthquake – By Abu Idrees Muhammad Khān حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid Salafi, Small Heath, Birmingham, UK.
Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:
– Signs of the Hour that are apparent in our time.
– Qatādah (رحمه الله) on the verse, _“And We sent not the signs except to warn, and to make them afraid (of destruction).”_ [Sūrah al-Isrā’ 17:59]
– Ibn Mas’ūd’s (رضى الله عنه) address to the people when there was an earthquake in Kūfa.
– Reflecting upon how it will be on that Great Day.
– Āyāt regarding the terrible earthquake of the Hour.
– Preparing for the Day we will stand before Allāh, and not feeling secure from the plan of Allāh.
– A call to make du’ā for our brothers and sisters in Libya and Morocco who have returned to Allāh.
– The five types of martyrs.
