Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:
- Attaining happiness in the dunyā and ākhirah by acting upon the sharī’ah of Allāh.
- Those from this ummah who resemble the Jews and Christians.
- The only way to attain true honour, and those who will be disgraced.
- The distinct path of the believers.
- How outward resemblance of a people eventually leads to adopting their customs and ideologies.
- Proof from the Qur’ān and Sunnah regarding the command for the believers to differ from the unbelievers.
- The weakness of the one who aspires to be like the unbelievers.
- The losers in the hereafter.
- The one who exposes himself to Allāh’s punishment and disgrace.
- The obligation of making hijrah to the lands of Islām.
- Those who will be raised with the unbelievers on the Day of Resurrection.
- Shaykh al-Fawzān (حفظه الله) on the extent to which Muslims in our time imitate the kuffār.
