Some points discussed during this Khutbah:

• The true happiness and good life.
• Being pleased with Allāh as our Lord, Islām as our dīn and Muḥammad ﷺ as our Prophet.
• The extent to which the Muslims will follow those who came before (the Jews and Christians). 
• Not being deceived by Shayṭān and taking up the fight against him.
• Shayṭān’s unrelenting pursuit to take us with him to the Fire.
• The importance of being consistent with the dhikr of Allāh and protecting ourselves morning and evening.
• Remembering Allāh when we are about to fall into disobedience.
• The deception of Ahlul-Bid’ah.
• The reason bid’ah is worse than sin.
• Sinning due to desires vs sinning due to arrogance. 
• Remembering our sins and repenting to Allāh.
• A sin that enters a person into Jannah.
• Reflecting upon the state of our hearts, and the things we must protect it from.
• Seeking refuge from the evil of ourselves.
• An āyah that should humble us. 
• The weakness of the plots of Shayṭān, and those whom he has no authority over.
• The necessity of being worshippers of Allāh upon ikhlās and the Sunnah. 
• Understanding that all of the affairs belong to Allāh.
• Giving charity on behalf of deceased parents and supplicating for them.
• A call to make every day a day won and not a day lost.
• The outcome on the Day of Judgement for the one who forgot Allāh.
• Some of the deceptions of Shayṭān.
