  • Benefits from the āyāt, “…and speak good to people…” [Sūrah al-Baqarah 2:83] and “O you who believe! Fear Allāh and speak (always) the truth.” [Sūrah al-Aḥzāb 33:70]
  • The order of forbidding evil.
  • The example of Nūḥ (عليه السلام) who called his people night and day.
  • The danger of memorisation without understanding.
  • The justice of Shaykh Rabī’ (حفظه الله) in his refutation of Sayyid Quṭb.
  • The evil end of the scholar who was insincere and did not act upon his knowledge.
  • The outcome of those who did not sit in the lessons of the ‘ulamā.
  • The prerequisite of knowledge for all affairs.
  • The mercy of the ‘ulamā and their genuine concern for the people.
  • A beautiful narration regarding the Companion Zāhir (رضى الله عنه) and the love the Prophet ﷺ had for him.
  • The forbiddance of foul speech towards the people.
  • The love between Ahlus-Sunnah.
  • A warning against arrogance.
  • The humility and tawakkul of the Ṣaḥābah.
  • Ibn ‘Abbās (رضى الله عنه) on three cautionary āyāt for the one who wants to enjoin good and forbid evil.
  • Benefits from the āyah, “The believers, men and women, are awliyā’ of one another, they enjoin al-Ma’rūf, and forbid from al-Munkar; they perform aṣ-Ṣalāt and give the Zakāt, and obey Allāh and His Messenger. Allāh will have His Mercy on them. Surely Allāh is All-Mighty, All-Wise.” [Sūrah at-Tawbah 9:71]
  • Our duty to our children regarding educating them and enjoining good and forbidding evil.
  • A punishment for not enjoining good and forbidding evil.
  • An āyah that caused the Messenger ﷺ to weep due to the great responsibility he felt regarding his ummah.
  • The example of Ibn Mas’ūd (رضى الله عنه) regarding his zeal for calling to Allāh despite being harmed. 
  • Following and loving the Sunnah.
  • The compassion the Prophet ﷺ had for his ummah.
  • The regret and punishment of the hypocrites and disbelievers on Yawmul-Qiyāmah, and the reward for the believers due to their patience and perseverance.
