[08/04/2024] O Seeker of Good, Ramaḍān is Here! – By Abu Idrees Muhammad Khān حفظه الله. Khutbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.
Some points discussed during this Khutbah:
- The yearning of the sincere ones for Ramaḍān.
- The reason behind this great month.
- Allāh’s favouring of particular Messengers, days, places and months over others.
- The great virtue of being blessed to see Ramaḍān, and how we should be if we reach it.
- Comprehending the fact that from the great honour of this month is that all of the doors of the Hellfire are closed and all of the doors of Paradise are opened.
- The call that is made to the seeker of good and the seeker of evil every night in Ramaḍān.
- Righteous actions to increase in to get ready for this month for the one who wants good.
- A mention of some of the realities of the Hellfire so we may reflect upon what we are seeking salvation from.
- A call to strive hard and go into this Ramaḍān with the intention that this may well be our last.
