Some points discussed during this lesson:

45: Is it an obligation upon the Scholars to clarify, to the youth and general folk, the danger of partisanship, dividing/splitting, and groups?

• The reasons the scholars must clarify these affairs. 

46: What is the ruling upon watching football tournaments or other than that? 

• The value of one’s time and the dangers of time wasting. 
• Harms of cable/TV and the like. 
• Affairs that take you away from the remembrance of Allāh. 
• Guarding one’s time and affairs that one should actually use their time for. 
• “Take from five before five…”
• “Fans” wasting money due to their fanaticism. 
• The questioning on the Day of Judgement. 
• Hobbies and pastimes that bring about benefit. 

47: Is a person’s entry into Paradise or Hell based upon their methodology?

• Understanding what “Manhaj” is. 
• The one upon the correct methodology will be from the people of Paradise, by the permission of Allāh. 
• The one upon a deviated methodology is threatened with the punishment of Allāh. 
• Some examples of deviant methodologies and their heads. 
• Who are the “Salafus-Ṣāliḥ”? 
• The condition of one’s heart and the reality of Al-Ikhlāṣ. 
• Labelling an individual based upon the creed and methodology they died upon?
• “This nation will split in to seventy-three sects…” 
• The path of the Prophet ﷺ and his Companions رضي الله عنهم أجمعين.
