[06/12/2024] Islām Will Fade Away Just Like Patterns On A Garment, So Save Yourselves From Fitan – By Abu Khadeejah ‘Abdul Wāḥid حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.
Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:
– Benefits from the ḥadīth, “Islām will fade away just as a pattern/embroidery on a garment fades away…”
– Our duty to keep Islām firm in our families and communities and not let it fade away through us.
– The extent to which fitan will become widespread.
– The scholars vs the speakers/entertainers in our time as it relates to who the people give importance to.
– The inevitable ascendency of Islām, with or without us.
– Those upon whom the Hour will be established.
– The greatness of the Qur’ān.
– Allāh’s promise to preserve the Qur’ān, and what is intended by its preservation and abandonment.
– The obligation upon every Muslim to study and act upon the Book and Sunnah.
– Virtues of seeking knowledge and the excellence of the scholars.
– The exit out of fitan.
– The evil outcomes of abandoning knowledge.
– Asking ourselves: What are we doing to protect ourselves and our families from fitan in these times?
