All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all creation—and may He extol the Messenger in the highest company of Angels, and grant him peace and security—likewise to his family, Companions and true followers.

Some points discussed during this Khutbah:
– Remembering Allāh’s many favours upon us.
– The obligation of showing gratitude to Allāh, and how it should be done.
– The impossibility of enumerating the blessings of Allāh.
– How to attain more blessings/favours from Allāh, and the reason they are removed.
– The consequences of:
– violating contracts
– judging by other than what Allāh revealed
– widespread lewdness
– giving short measure in the scales
– withholding zakāh.
– The greatest of all covenants/contracts.
– Clarification regarding the correct understanding of the verse, {And whosoever does not judge by what Allāh has revealed, such are the Kāfirūn.} [Sūrah al-Mā’idah 5:44]
– How the one who withholds zakāh is to be dealt with in a Muslim country.
