[27/12/2024] Unifying the Ranks of Ahlus-Sunnah in Light of the Quran and Sunnah – By Abu Khadeejah ‘Abdul Wāḥid حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid Salafi, Small Heath, Birmingham, UK.
Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:
– The command to be united, and the foundation for this unity.
– A description of the Mufliḥūn (successful ones).
– The prohibition of splitting and differing after the establishment of clear proofs.
– That which unites the hearts.
– The similitude of the believers in regards to their mutual love and mercy for one another.
– The Ṣaḥābah’s (رضى الله عنهم) preservation of brotherhood even when they differed, and their uniting against those who split the ranks.
– Ibn Taymiyyah (رحمه الله) on the Aided Group.
– A beautiful statement from Shaykh Rabī’ b. Hādī al-Madkhalī (حفظه الله) describing the strong bond of brotherhood that exists between the Salafīs worldwide.
