  • The distortion of the call of the Messenger ﷺ.
  • Ibn Taymiyyah’s (رحمه الله) definition of ‘ibādah (worship).
  • The Prophet’s ﷺ forbiddance of over-exaggerating in praising him.
  • Refutation of the claim of the Ṣūfīs that you can call upon the Prophet ﷺ.
  • Proof that du’ā is worship, and thus cannot be directed to other than Allāh.
  • Curing with one’s saliva (by the Permission of Allāh) was for the Messenger ﷺ alone.

  • Seeking the pleasure of Allāh and not the pleasure of the people.
  • Examples of miracles of the Prophet ﷺ that the Companions witnessed, yet none of them worshipped him.
  • A call to the Ṣūfī to be a slave of Allāh and not a slave of his shaykh.
  • Checking ourselves and renewing our īmān.
  • Sufyān ath-Thawrī (رحمه الله) on bid’ah being more pleasing to Iblīs than sin.
