Some points discussed during this lesson:
– The role of the scholars.

– The manhaj of all of the scholars and the origin they return to. 

– The rise of the philosophers and how foreign ideas entered into Islām.

– Allāh’s raising of great imāms in this era who defended and protected the Sunnah from the widespread innovations. 

– How Muhammad b. ‘Abdul-Wahhāb revived the da’wah of Ibn Taymiyyah (رحمهم الله) in the Arabian peninsula. 

– “It is only those who have knowledge among His slaves that fear Allāh.” [Sūrah Fātir 35:28]

– “Allāh will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degrees.” [Sūrah al-Mujādilah 58:11]

– That which leads to taqwā and murāqabah of Allāh.

– The inevitability of being harmed in the path of da’wah and defending the dīn.

– Severe trials faced by the Prophets and Messengers (عليهم الصلاة والسلام). 

– Making our souls accustomed to being patient.

– “Only those who are patient shall receive their rewards in full, without reckoning.” [Sūrah Zumar 39:10]

– “Therefore be patient (O Muhammad ﷺ) as did the Messengers of strong will” [Sūrah al-Ahqāf 46:35]

– The obligation of taking the Messenger ﷺ as an example in all affairs.

– The necessity of the caller having noble traits, and how bad character harms the da’wah. 

– The importance of having correct ‘aqīdah, manhaj and conduct. 

– A firm warning against being a bad representative of the da’wah and taking a portion of Islām while leaving another. 

– How Salafiyyah was spread to every part of the world. 

– The necessity of being upon the highest level of conduct. 

– A warning against scaring the people away from the da’wah.
