All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all creation—and may He extol the Messenger in the highest company of Angels, and grant him peace and security—likewise to his family, Companions, and true followers.
[30/10/2026] The Wisdom of Creation and the Purpose of Mankind’s Existence – al-‘Allāmah Rabī’ ibn Hādī ibn Muḥammad ‘Umayr al-Madkhalī رحمه الله – Based on his introduction of Manhaj al Anbiyā – Sh Abu Fuḍayl ‘Abdur Raqīb حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.
Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:
– An introduction from Shaykh Rabī’s book The Methodology of the Prophets in Calling to Allāh.
– The Creator of this magnificent universe created it for a wise purpose.
– Allāh تعالى says: “And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, for mere play. We created them not except with truth, but most of them know not.” Sūrah al-Dukhān (44:38–39).
– Imām al-Saʿdī’s explanation of the āyah.
– Āyāt relating to the true purpose of our existence and the creation of the universe.
– We have been placed upon this earth for a mighty purpose: to worship Allāh alone.
– The false speculation of those who disbelieve regarding the true purpose of this creation.
– A ḥadīth explaining the clear distinction between mankind, the jinn and animals.
– A ḥadīth describing the death of Death.
– Allāh has bestowed honour and nobility upon mankind.
– Examples of the ways in which Allāh has honoured mankind.
