[06/11/2026] Advice for Families Facing the Loss of a Loved One – Sh Abu Idrees Muhammad Khān حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.
Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:
– Among the most difficult trials that a believer faces.
– Having trust and reliance upon Allāh.
– The life of this dunyā is temporary.
– The great wisdom and reward contained within the trials of this life.
– The expiation of sins.
– ‘Ā’ishah رضي الله عنها during the illness of the Messenger ﷺ.
– The reward for visiting the sick.
– Dealing with the trial of losing a loved one.
– The guidance of the Prophet ﷺ when visiting the sick.
– The final words of a believer.
– Remembering that death is not the end of the believer’s journey.
– The vast mercy of Allāh.
– “You will be with the one whom you love.”
