[02/08/2024] The Bitter Trials of This Life are Sweetness in the Hereafter – By Abu Idrees Muhammad Khān حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.
Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:
– Ḥadīth regarding the Speech of Allāh on the Day of Judgment, to the one who will have the least punishment in the hell fire.
– The importance of At-Tawḥīd and it being the path to salvation.
– {And those who did wrong, if they had all that is in earth and as much again, verily, they would offer it to ransom themselves therewith on the Day of Resurrection from the evil torment, and there will become apparent to them from Allāh, what they had not been reckoning} [Surah Az-Zumar:39].
– Ḥadīth of Anas ibn Mālik رضي الله عنه: The Messenger ﷺ narrates that the disbeliever on the Day of Judgement will be asked if he would ransom gold the equivalent of this earth…
– The importance of being firm upon the straight path.
– Giving importance to our perfect and complete religion.
– Do not let shaytān deceive you and despair in the mercy of Allāh.
– This dunyā, worldly life will perish and expire.
– The one who was given the riches and the pleasures of this world.
– “Verily the sweetness of this world will be bitterness on the Day of Judgement. And the bitterness of this world will be sweetness on the Day of Judgement.”
