[04/04/2025] Strive to be Steadfast After Ramaḍān – Abu ‘Abdir-Raḥmān Hilāl حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.

Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:

– Although the month of Ramadān has come to an end the worship of Allah does not end until death comes to you.
– Different types of worship from the pillars, obligations and recommendations.
– The various types of fasting from the Sunnah that continues outside of Ramadān.
– Examples from the Sunnah of Qiyām continuing beyond Ramadān.
– Statement of Ibn Masūd رضي الله عنه encouraging the importance of the Qurān.
– Hadīth regarding the virtues of Dhikr.
– The signs of acceptance and rejection of one’s Ramadān.
– The greatest means of attaining steadfastness upon worship.
– “Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the Bestower.” Surah AlI Imran 3:8.
– The importance of asking for firmness just as Prophet ‎ﷺ asked for firmness.
– O Turner of the hearts, make my heart firm upon your Deen.
– “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a true believer verily, to him We will give a good life, and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do.” Surah Nahl 16:97.
