Part One:

– A reminder that we follow the narrations and are not muqallidūn.

– “And verily, you (O Muḥammad ﷺ) are on an exalted (standard of) character.” [Sūrah al-Qalam 68:4]

– Noble traits of the Messenger ﷺ and the completeness of his character. 

– The Sunnah of taking a kunyah.

– Examples of the mercy and generosity of the Prophet ﷺ.

– “So, by the mercy of Allāh, you were gentle with them, and had you been harsh and hard-hearted, they would have dispersed from around you, so pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in matters. And when you have decided upon a matter, then put your trust in Allāh. Indeed, Allāh loves those who put their trust in Him.” [Sūrah Āli ‘Imrān 3:159]

– “Verily, there has come unto you a Messenger from amongst yourselves. It grieves him that you should suffer; he is anxious that you are rightly guided; and for the believers, he is full of pity, kindness and mercy.” [Sūrah at-Tawbah 9:128]

– A trait of the believers.

– Seeking to win the hearts of the people with good character. 

– Examples of the Prophet ﷺ as a husband.

– The great courage and strong resolve of the Messenger ﷺ. 

Questions:

1. How do I deal with non-Muslim parents who mock the religion and the path I am upon?

2. Everyone claims to call to Salafiyyah. How can I tell who the real Salafīs are?

3. Question regarding giving a guarantee when doing a job.

4. What do we say to those who, when we try to invite them to lessons and conferences they say the Salafīs only speak about ‘Aqīdah and they are more interested in topics like Fiqh?

Part Two:

– Practicing the Sunnah as it relates to our manners and giving everyone the rights due to them.

– The response of ‘Abdullāh b. ‘Amr b. al-‘Āṣ (رضى الله عنهما) when he was asked about the description of the Prophet ﷺ in the Torah.

– The nature of the souls.

– The forbearance of the Prophets (عليهم الصلاة والسلام) and their patience upon the harm they encountered from their people.

– Anas b. Mālik (رضى الله عنه) on what he witnessed from the character of the Messenger ﷺ in the ten years he served him. 

– The prevalence and acceptance of lying in today’s society.

– How the Messenger ﷺ won over the hearts of the people.

– ‘Amr b. al-‘Āṣ’ acceptance of Islām after hating and fighting against the Prophet ﷺ.

– The necessity of being good examples for our families.

– Instances of the Messenger ﷺ correcting and warning his Companions about affairs that cause corruption. 

– The importance of knowing the level/condition of the people when giving da’wah.

– Narrations regarding the obligation of treating our parents kindly.

– The Prophet’s ﷺ weeping for his mother at her grave, and the impact it had on the Companions with him. 

– The importance of maintaining the ties of kinship.

– The worst of people in the sight of Allāh.

– Khadījah’s (رضى الله عنها) hatred for idolatry even before Islām. 

– How ‘Amr b. Luḥayy introduced idolatry into Makkah. 

– Two qualities Allāh (سبحانه وتعالى) loves.

– Proof that noble, virtuous character can be innate or acquired. 

– A distinguishing sign of Islām vs the other religions.

– The humility of the Messenger ﷺ in how he dealt with the people.

– The Messenger’s ﷺ attitude towards worldly pleasures and luxuries.

– The sad reality that there are Muslim who prefer the culture and manners of the unbelievers.

– The golden years of Islām.

– Cultivating our children upon Salafiyyah for posterity. 

Questions:

1. Question regarding congregational du’ā at the graveside and after ṣalāh.

2. Can I lie about certain things such as my address in the UK for my car?

3. Where would be the best place for a Muslim to confirm historical events?

4. Is it permissible to work in companies that provide financial information such as interest rates etc.? 

5. Is it allowed for me to level graves?

6. How does one deal with extreme doubts about the religion?

7. How do we bring about unity between the Salafīs in this day and age?

8. Is it permissible to attend a mixed university with the intention of getting a master’s degree for hijrah, as hijrah is wājib?

9. How do we respond to those who claim to follow the Ṣaḥābah and say you do not need to call yourself Salafī?

10. There is a part of the company where I work that does things that are ḥarām but I have nothing to do with it. Is it permissible for me to work there?

11. Is it okay to have a taper fade?

12. If someone has fallen into self-harm due to depression and repented but always has the urge to go back to self-harming, how do they deal with this?

13. How do we deal with those who spread lies about our brothers from the scholars and students and knowledge?
