[19/12/2025] Reflections on Surah Al-Ghāshiyah Tafseer As-Sa’dī – By Abu Fuḍayl ‘Abdur Raqīb حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid Salafi, Small Heath, Birmingham, UK.
Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:
– Benefits from Sūrah al-Ghāshiyah from the Tafsīr of Imām as-Sa’dī (رحمه الله).
– The state of mankind on the Day of Judgement.
– The two categories of people on that Day.
– The reason the inhabitants of the Hellfire will be exhausted.
– The torturous drink and vile food of the people of the Hellfire.
– The delight and joy of the righteous believers, and the lofty dwellings prepared for them in Jannah.
– The tranquility and comfort in Jannah.
– Reflecting upon the creation of our Lord (سبحانه وتعالى).
– The inevitable return to Allāh.
– The greatest of all good deeds, and the worst of all evil deeds.
