[13/02/2026] Ramaḍān – The Noble Guest – By Abu Fuḍayl ‘Abdur Raqīb حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.
Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:
– The Month of Ramadan and its many virtues.
– Hadith: When Ramadan enters, the gates of Jannah are opened, and the gates of Hellfire are closed, and the devils are chained up.
– This is the month of obedience and a month of salvation from the Fire.
– Seek out the blessings of Allah and display goodness and turn away from the wickedness.
– Remembrance of Allah should be increased.
– Importance of enjoining the good and forbidding the evil in Ramadan.
– The two moments of joy for the fasting person.
– Fasting is a shield.
– The true purpose of fasting.
– Make your fasting days different from the usual days.
– How the Prophet ﷺ performed the night prayer.
– The virtues of the night prayer.
