[26/12/2025] Patience & Taqwa: The Way Out of Difficulty – By Abu ‘Inaayah Seif حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.

Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:

– Allāh, The Most-High, says: {If good touches you, it grieves them; but if evil befalls you, they rejoice at it. But if you are patient and become from the muttaqūn, not the least harm will their plotting do to you. Indeed, Allah encompasses all that they do} [Surah Āl ‘Imrān (3):120].

– Reflections from the life of the Prophet ﷺ.

– Allāh revealed Surah al-Kawthar to comfort the Prophet ﷺ during this time.

– You will surely be tested in your possessions and in yourselves.

– {If you remain patient and have taqwā of Allah, then indeed that is from the matters of great resolve} [Surah ash-Shūrā (42):43].

– The two qualities of patience and taqwā are the means to overcome every difficulty.

– ‘Abdullāh ibn Mas‘ūd رضي الله عنه said: The greatest āyah, that is a way out of every difficulty: {Whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out}.

– Allah, The Most-High, says: {O you who believe, you are responsible for yourselves. Those who oppose you will not be able to harm you in the slightest} [Surah al-Mā’idah (5):105].
