– Proof from the Qur’ān that obedience to the leaders and scholars is from the tenets of our faith.
– The two categories of Ūlul-Amr (those who have authority), and the manner in which they command good and forbid evil.
– The three states of a person of īmān when he sees an evil.
– The impossibility of there being disagreement between the Qur’ān and the authentic Sunnah.
– What is obligatory upon us when ikhtilāf occurs, and examples from the Companions in this regard.
– Imām ash-Shāfi’ī (رحمه الله) on the impermissibility of abandoning the Sunnah of the Messenger ﷺ for the statement of someone else.
– Proof that the da’wah of the Prophets and Messengers was not one of taqlīd and jahl.
– The solution to differing.
– The obligation of refuting the one who leaves the proof for a statement of anyone from the ‘ulamā.
– Tactics used by the people of innovation to turn the people away from following the Qur’ān and Sunnah.
– The obligation of acting upon the proof from the Qurān and Sunnah when it reaches us.
