[30/05/2025] Chapter: The Virtues of the Companions of the Messenger ﷺ – Explanation of Kitāb As-Sunnah from Sunan Ibn Mājah [Lesson 117] – By Abu Khadeejah ‘Abdul-Wāhid حفظه الله.

– A great amount done by other than the Companions can never equate to an amount done by them.
– The tremendous reward for the Companions who conveyed the Book and the Sunnah to us.
– The burden of sin carried by the mubtadi’.
– The ruling of this statement of Ibn ‘Umar (رضى الله عنهما) [i.e. Ḥadīth #162].
– Gathering between this ḥadīth and the ḥadīth which mentions that those who hold on to the dīn at the end of time will get the reward of fifty of the Companions.
– A benefit regarding al-Asmā’ al-Mufradah in the Science of Ḥadīth.
