Questions:

  1. What is advised for parents to do when they have a newborn? Is the taḥnīk and reciting the adhān in the ear from the Sunnah?
  2. Should the father do anything specific in the delivery room?
  3. For the one who is memorising Sūrah al-‘Alaq, if he is repeating the āyah of prostration many times, is it upon him to make sajdah every time?
  4. What is your view regarding what some of the ‘ulamā say with respect to wearing garments and sports gear made by Nike?
  5. Is it allowed for women to wear what is referred to as the tikka (the jewellery Indian and Pakistani women wear on the forehead)?
