– The importance of knowledge and the attainment of knowledge.
– Shaykh al-Islām Muḥammd b. ‘Abdul-Wahhāb (رحمه الله) on the four affairs that are obligatory upon us.
– The proof for these four affairs.
– Imām ash-Shāfi’ī (رحمه الله) on Sūrah al-‘Asr.
– Imām al-Bukhārī (رحمه الله) on the greatness of knowledge.
– The importance of the chapter headings of Imām al-Bukhārī.

– Proof that knowledge must precede statements and actions.
– A statement from ‘Alī b. Abī Ṭālib (رضى الله عنه) that highlights the honour of knowledge and the blameworthiness of ignorance.
– “Say: ‘Are those who know equal to those who know not?’ It is only men of understanding who will remember.” [Sūrah az-Zumar 39:9]
– “Allāh bears witness that Lā ilāha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), and the angels, and those having knowledge (also give this witness)…” [Sūrah Āli-‘Imrān 3:18]
– The reason why Allāh makes the path to Jannah easy for the student of knowledge.
– The virtue of the ‘ālim (scholar) over the ‘ābid (worshipper).
– Proof that it is obligatory upon every Muslim to seek knowledge.
– The results of not having knowledge (of the religion of Islām).
– The two foundations upon which the Muslim establishes his religion.
– “It is only those who have knowledge among His slaves that fear Allāh.” [Sūrah Fāṭir 35:28]
– A sign that Allāh wishes good for a person.
– Evaluating ourselves and facing the reality regarding the state of our affairs.
– The importance of getting our families accustomed to sitting in the durūs.
