– Entrusting our affairs to Allāh and seeking His aid.

– The nature of the soul to exceed the bounds when retaliating.

– The mindset we should have when we suffer oppression. 

– The greatest of armies against the oppressor. 

– The feelings of lowliness inherited by the oppressor if the oppressed exercises patience. 

– The multiplication of khayr that results from a person pardoning and overlooking. 

– The reward on the Day of Judgement for the one who withheld his anger/rage while he was capable of acting upon it. 

– A reminder to constantly think about the ākhirah.
