[21/08/2026] The Bid’ah of Celebrating The Mawlid – By Abu ‘Abdir-Raḥmān Hilāl حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.

– The greatest blessing upon a Muslim is guidance to Islam.
– The virtues of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from Qur’anic āyāt.
– The affair concerning the newly invented matter of the Prophet’s Birthday (Mawlid).
– The origins of the Mawlid innovation.
– The dangers of transgressing the Sunnah.
– The evil matters that occur during the Mawlid under the claim of loving the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
– How the Companions loved the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
– The completion and perfection of the Religion of Islam — the celebration of the Prophet’s birthday was not revealed or celebrated by the Companions.
– Whatever the Messenger ﷺ gives you, take it; whatever he forbids, avoid it.
– Āyatul Imtiḥān — the āyah to test the claim of loving the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
– The consequences of disobeying the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
