– Sincerity in seeking knowledge.
– Statements from the ‘ulamā of the Salaf regarding the essence of sincerity.

– ‘Awn b. ‘Abdillāh (رحمه الله) on three things the people of Fiqh used to advise one another with.

– The difference between fiqh and ‘ilm.

– The severe threat for the one whose speech opposes his actions.
– The three categories of people who possess knowledge.
– Being prevented from provisions due to sins, and the different types of provisions.
– The humility of Salaf in looking to themselves first.
– Imām ash-Shāfi’ī (رحمه الله) on four things that are upon the one who wishes/loves that Allāh opens and brightens his heart.
– Seeking knowledge for fame, and the punishment for the one who does so.
– A warning against procrastination.
