[02/01/2026] Be Just, O Servant of Allāh! – By Abu ‘Abdir-Raḥmān Hilāl حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.

Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:

– Taqwā is established upon justice regarding the rites of Allāh and also upon the rites of His servants.
– The heavens and the Earth are established upon justice.
– Allāh frees Himself from injustices.
– Indeed, Allāh enjoins justice and being good to one another.
– Whenever you speak then speak the truth, without favouritism.
– Rule and judge with justice, do not lie or cheat against one another.
– Stand up for justice even if it be against your own selves and families.
– Allāh commands, be just, that is closer to piety, and Allāh is all aware of that which you do.
– Ibn Qayyim: Whoever prioritises being fair, and embarks upon a path of knowledge, then allow will make clear the truth from falsehood.
– Justice and mannerisms towards one’s children.
– A story of father and son, and the giving of a gift.
– Justice with siblings and family.
– The Prophet ﷺ regarding the man who is unjust between two wives.
– Justice in measures when giving and taking, buying and selling.
– The Prophet ﷺ mentioned three things that save people from the fire.
– The Prophet ﷺ mentioned three things that send a people to the fire.
