Abu Idrees Muhammad Khān

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all creation—and may He extol the Messenger in the highest company of Angels, and grant him peace and security—likewise to his family, Companions, and true followers.

[14/03/2025] The Acts Of Worship If Combined Together Grant Paradise – By Abu Idrees Muhammad Khān حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.

Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:

– The great benefits that are contained in the month of Ramaḍān.

– Hadīth describing the beauty of the chambers that are within Paradise and who the chambers are for.

– They are for those whose speech is good, regular with fasts and who prays at night whilst the people sleep.

– Importance of having good speech in Ramaḍān.

– Hadīth highlighting how a person can achieve Paradise by performing four particular acts of worship in one day.

– Narration of Abu Darda رضي الله عنه regarding how to prepare for the heeafter: praying in the darkness of the night for your grave to be illuminated, Fast in those days that the conditions are difficult so you can have the coolness on the Day of Resurrection and give in charity in order to lessen your burden on the heavy day.”

– The real success is in obedience to Allah and His Messenger ‎ﷺ

– Allah describes the characteristics of the Believers that are successful “Successful indeed are the believers. Those who offer their Salat with all solemnity and full submissiveness. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that Allah has forbidden). And those who pay the Zakat. And those who guard their chastity…Those who are faithfully true to their Amanāt (all the duties which Allah has ordained, honesty, moral responsibility and trusts etc.) and to their covenants; And those who strictly guard their (five compulsory congregational) Salawāt (prayers) (at their fixed stated hours). These are indeed the inheritors. Who shall inherit the Firdaus (Paradise). They shall dwell therein forever.” [Surah Al-Mu’minūn (23): 1-5 and 9-11]

– Divine advice of Allah: “And march forth in the way (which leads to) forgiveness from your Lord, and for Paradise as wide as are the heavens and the earth, prepared for Al-Muttaqūn.

– Those who spend [in Allah’s Cause, deeds of charity, alms, etc.] in prosperity and in adversity, who repress anger, and who pardon men; verily, Allah loves Al-Muhsinun (the good-doers). [Surah Āl-Imran (3): 133-134].
