[26/07/2024] The Virtues of Knowledge – By Abu Ḥafṣah Kāshif Khān حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.
Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:
- Allāh has clarified the way of success for us.
- {Then whenever there comes to you Guidance from Me, and whoever follows My Guidance, there shall be no fear on them, nor shall they grieve} [Al-Baqarah:38].
- The call of the Prophets عليهم السلام.
- Da’wah of Prophets was a call to knowledge.
- The meaning of “Rabbāniyūn”.
- The virtue of knowledge.
- The description of the Da’wah of the Messenger from Surah Yusuf: 108.
- Allāh praises the people of knowledge.
- The Prophet ﷺ was sent to call to knowledge and not blind following.
- Narrations on the virtues of seeking knowledge and understanding the religion.
- Narrations on the rewards obtained due to seeking knowledge even after our death.
- An encouragement to seek knowledge.
