All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all creation—and may He extol the Messenger in the highest company of Angels, and grant him peace and security—likewise to his family, Companions, and true followers.
[13/03/2026] Last 10 Days, Piety, Charity, and Tawbah – Sh Abu Khadeejah ‘Abdul Wāḥid حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid Masjid As-Salafi, Small Heath, Birmingham, UK.
Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:
– “We sent it (this Qur’ān) down on a blessed night. Verily, We are ever warning. Therein (that night) is decreed every matter of ordainments.” [Sūrah ad-Dukhān 44:3-4]
– A lifetime of ‘ibādah.
– The nuzūl of Allāh (سبحانه وتعالى) in the last third of the night.
– Seeking out Laylatul-Qadr in the odd nights of the last ten.
– The loss of only seeking out Laylatul-Qadr on the 27th night.
– ‘Ā’ishah’s (رضى الله عنها) description of the night prayer of the Messenger ﷺ in Ramadān.
– The reward for praying with the imām.
– Signs of Laylatul-Qadr.
– The immense reward for giving from pure earnings.
– The purification of Zakātul-Fitr.
– The du’ā the Messenger ﷺ taught ‘A’ishah (رضى الله عنها) to say on Laylatul-Qadr.
– An opportunity to rectify ourselves and be upon istiqāmah.
– Caution against despairing of the Mercy of Allāh (سبحانه وتعالى).
– The generosity of the Messenger ﷺ in the month of Ramadān.
– The effect of a father upon his household.
