[20/06/2025] Shaikh Ibn Bāz Explains the Importance of Following the Truth – By Abu Khadeejah ‘Abdul Wāḥid حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid Salafi, Small Heath, Birmingham, UK.
Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:
– Benefits from the comments of Shaykh ‘Abdul-‘Azīz b. Bāz (رحمه الله) after Shaykh Rabī’ (حفظه الله) advised a group of his students.
– Judging by the Book and Sunnah in all matters, small or great.
– The obligation of returning all matters of differing in the religion to the two revelations.
– A story that illustrates how the Companions (رضى الله عنهم) returned matters of differing to Allāh and His Messenger ﷺ and never put anyone’s opinion above that.
– That which is obligatory upon the scholars, students of knowledge and everyone bound by the Sharī’ah.

– The cure for ignorance.
– The obligation upon the scholars to spread knowledge and clarify the truth by every available means.
– The three types of people who oppose this da’wah.
– The da’wah of Shaykh al-Islām Muhammad b. ‘Abdul-Wahhāb (رحمه الله).

– The obligation for the callers to be upon basīrah and gentleness when teaching the people.
