All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all creation—and may He extol the Messenger in the highest company of Angels, and grant him peace and security—likewise to his family, Companions, and true followers.
[12/09/2025] Return Back to Allāh, He Will Not Forsake You – By Sh Abu Idrees Muhammad Khān حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.
Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:
– “All of the Children of Ādam are erroneous and sinful, the best of those who sin and err are those who repent.” Hadith.
– Allāh تعالى says: {Say: “O ‘Ibadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful} [Surah Zumar (39):53].
– Hadith Qudsi: “O my slaves. Indeed, you sin during the day and you sin during the night but I will forgive all sins”.
– An encouragement to come back from sin and return back to Allāh.
– Narrations highlighting that Allāh is the Oft-Forgiving and Most-Merciful.
– The ways and means to return to Allah:
– Changing one’s condition.
– Du’ā – “Sayyidul Istighfār”.
– Explanation of the du’ā.
– Du’ā for wellbeing in this life and the hereafter.
– Allāh does not change the state of a person until they change themselves.
– Those who do wrong then they seek forgiveness. And who seeks forgiveness..do not continue on with the sin.
