[27/06/2025] Remember the Hellfire in the Summer and in The Winter – By Abu Idrees Muhammad Khān حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid Salafi, Small Heath, Birmingham, UK.
Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:
- The Prophet ﷺ said “When the heat becomes intense, then cool it with the prayer” [Bukhari].
- The trials that come with the Summer.
- The complaint of the Hellfire.
- The two breathes of the Hellfire.
- The severe cold that we witness during the winter.
- The purpose of creation.
- The average age of this ummah.
- Reflecting upon the reality of death.
- The most truthful of speech.
- The benefit of being reminded.
- The blessing of lawful earnings.
- Reasons of being punished in the hereafter.
- {The people of the hellfire will call to the people of paradise…} [Al-A’rāf: 7:50].
- Working good deeds in this life.
- “Shall I not inform you, who is the best from amongst you?…” Hadith.
