[04/10/2024] O Ahlus Sunnah The Dawah Comes First! – By Abu Idrees Muhammad Khān حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid Salafi, Small Heath, Birmingham, UK.
Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:
– The obligation of rectification amongst the Muslims.
– The example of Hasan b. ‘Alī and Mu’āwiyah (رضى الله عنهم) who chose peace and reconciliation for the benefit of the ummah.
– Sacrificing ourselves for the preservation of the dīn and Salafī da’wah.
– Examples of how the Messenger ﷺ gave precedence to what is best for the dīn of Islām: how he ﷺ dealt with ‘Abdullāh b. ‘Ubayy, Dhul-Khuwaysirah and the kuffār of Quraysh after the Conquest of Makkah.
– Imām Qurṭubī on the statement of Allāh, “He said: “No reproach on you this day, may Allah forgive you, and He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy!” [Sūrah Yūsuf 12:92]
– Encouragement to rectify our ranks based upon the principles of the dīn.
