[06/12/2024] You Do Not Truly Love Allāh Until You Hate What He Hates – By Abu Fuḍayl ‘Abdur Raqīb حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid Salafi, Small Heath, Birmingham, UK.
Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:
– Signs of one’s love of Allāh.
– To love and hate for the sake of Allāh.
– That which is obligatory upon the believer.
– True faith/Īmān.
– Those who one should befriend and the opposite.
– Rejecting the truth.
– Those who earned the anger of Allāh.
– From the traits of the disbelievers.
– Hating sin, corruption and immoral conduct.
– Those who are truly guided.
– The sweetness of īmān.
– Placing Allāh and His Messenger ﷺ before everything.
– Loving the believers for the sake of Allāh.
– Hating to return to unbelief.
– The reality of friendship on the Day of Judgement.
– You will be with whom you love, be they righteous or wretched.
– {Woe to me! I wish I had never taken so-and-so as a close friend} [Al-Furqān: 28].
