[14/02/2025] How Will You Receive Ramaḍān? – By Abu ‘Abdir-Raḥmān Hilāl حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid Salafi, Small Heath, Birmingham, UK.
Some points covered during this Khuṭbah:
– Taking account of ourselves regarding our preparation for the blessed month of Ramaḍān.
– The reason the Prophet ﷺ fasted plentifully in the month of Sha’bān.
– The prohibition of fasting a day or two before Ramaḍān, and the one who is exempted from this prohibition.
– Hastening to make up missed fasts from the previous Ramaḍān, and the impermissibility of delaying it until the next Ramaḍān without a valid excuse.
– Those who will be successful in the hereafter and those who will be in loss and failure.
– Ibn Rajab (رحمه الله) on the happiness of the believer when he reaches Ramaḍān.
– The concern of the Salaf before and after the month of Ramaḍān.
