Lesson one:
– Nurturing ourselves upon constantly praising Allāh for His blessings, and āyāt from the Qur’ān in this regard.
– The connection between fulfilling the rights of Allāh and fulfilling the rights of the creation.
– Some of the most important rights our Lord has over us, with proof from the Qur’ān and Sunnah and statements of the scholars:
– 1. To believe in Him (سبحانه وتعالى).
– 2. To have knowledge and awareness that Allāh is the Creator of all things.
– 3. To be sincere in worshipping Allāh alone.
– 4. To affirm that all blessings are from Allāh and thank Him for these blessings.
– 5. To be truthful and sincere to Allāh.
– 6. To have murāqabah (i.e. to be mindful that Allāh sees and hears all things).
– 7. To submit to Allāh and His judgement.

Lesson two:
– The mercy, bliss and rectification found in the dīn of al-Islām.
– The reason we have rights over one another.
– Narrations regarding the importance of fulfilling the rights upon us.
– The story of a Companion who controlled his emotions and carried out the rights of the Muslims in a very severe predicament.
– Brief explanation of the rights of:
– The parents
– The husband over his wife
– The wife over her husband
– The one that is in dispute
– The sick
– The siblings
– The one in business
– The guest
– The neighbour
– The in-laws
– The deceased
