All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all creation—and may He extol the Messenger in the highest company of Angels, and grant him peace and security—likewise to his family, Companions, and true followers.

Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:
– Remembering and glorifying Allāh after great acts of worship.
– Abū Bakr aṣ-Ṣiddīq’s (رضى الله عنه) first khuṭbah to the people after becoming the Khalīfah.
– Beautiful words of advice from Salmān al-Fārisī to Abū ad-Dardā’ (رضى الله عنهما) when he realised that his excessive worship was affecting his family.
– The greatest rights to be fulfilled.
– The greatest right of Allāh upon us.
– “Say (O Muḥammad ﷺ): ‘Verily, my Salāh (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allāh, the Lord of the ‘Ālamīn (mankind, jinns and all that exists).” [Sūrah al-An’ām 6:162]
– “And He gave you of all that you asked for, and if you count the Blessings of Allāh, never will you be able to count them.” [Sūrah Ibrāhīm 14:34]
– The rights our souls have upon us.
– Giving our families their rights and valuing our relationship with our parents.
– The necessity of keeping our children close in these difficult times.
– Preserving ties with our siblings and not letting worldly affairs cause separation.
– “All the praises and thanks be to Allāh, Who has guided us to this, never could we have found guidance, were it not that Allāh had guided us!” [Sūrah al-A’rāf 7:43]
– “And remember Him as He has guided you, and verily, you were, before, of those who were astray.” [Sūrah al-Baqarah 2:198]
– Profound counsel from ‘Uthmān b. ‘Affān (رضى الله عنه) on preparing for the Angel of Death.
– A ḥadīth to give glad tidings to the hearts of our sisters.
– Advice from our Messenger ﷺ to remain patient until we meet him at the lake [ḥawḍ].
