Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:
– The reason the early Salaf used titles such as as-Sunnah, al-Īmān, ash-Sharī’ah, at-Tawhīd and al-‘Aqīdah for their works.
– The meaning of ‘aqīdah.
– The foundation upon which the outward actions of ‘ibādah are built.
– The reason the Salaf put so much emphasis on ‘Aqīdah.
– The aim of those who reject these titles and claim there is no evidence for them.
– The reason the Salafīs are the most attacked of all the groups of Islām.
– The only thing that will unite the Muslims.
– The impossibility of uniting while differing in ‘aqīdah.
– The permissibility of differing in affairs of Fiqh that are open to ijtihād.
– The true Golden Age of Islām.
– The cause of the weakening of the ummah.
– The importance of studying the correct ‘aqidah.
– The state of the ummah today.
